Tonic Studios - New Baby Card

Hello Friends!

Babies are so precious and I love making baby cards. I had a great time creating this card with Tonic Studios products, and because it sits on a round base it actually rocks when you give it a little tap. This card can also be used as a baby announcement or to congratulate the happy parents.

Instructions:

The card base was created by die cutting the largest circle dies from Celtic Dream Layering Die Collection – 209E using pink and white metallic cardstock. Glue layers together with Funky Glue Pen – 421E and fold in half. Cut the smaller circles from the set, glue layers together and adhere to semicircle card base as pictured.

Die cut a baby picture with Circle Layering Die Set – 481E and to mat the picture with white cardstock, use Scalloped Circle Layering Die Set – 483E.

Die cut Rococo Petites Rocking Horse Die -  1270E and Miniature Moments New Baby – 1263E from blue cardstock and then adhere to card with foam tape.

Die cut multiple flowers with Entwining Trellis Radiant Roselily Die Set – 770E from designer cardstock, shape flowers with Floral Crafters Tool Set – 380-266E. Embellish center of flowers with Nuvo Crystal Drops – Ivory Seashell – 675N.

Die cut several vines with Rococo Petites Acorn Swirl Die – 178E from green cardstock.

Adhere flowers and vines to card using Funky Glue Pen – 421E as pictured. Create a bow with silk ribbon and glue under flowers.

Tonic Studios - Congrats Baby Card

Hello Friends, 

I have a baby card to share with you created with Tonic Studios dies and products. I have to tell you that the Nuvo Crystal Drops have become my favorite, they make perfect little pearls!

Instructions:

I started by making a 7 ½” x 7 ½” card base with white cardstock. For the next layer, I die cut 4 corners with Verso Corner Die Set – 410E with yellow and blue cardstock.

I cut out a circle from the white card base using Circle layering Die Set – 481E and glued acetate paper on top. Next, I glued the 4 corners with Funky Glue Pen – 421E as pictured. I used  Nuvo Crystal Drops – Ivory Seashell – 675N to create pearls around the border.

I die cut Rococo Royal Carriage Die- 1274E from white and blue cardstock and glued to center of the card on acetate. I die cut  Miniature Moments Congrats! Die – 1245E from white and blue cardstock and glued to card.

The flowers were created with Petal Pairs Flower Punch – Set 3 Janelle – 882E and the leaves were die cut with Arboreal Dream Die Set – 656E. I embellished the center of the flowers with micro-beads. For the bow I used white silk ribbon.

Tonic Studios - Congratulations Baby Card

Hello Friends, 

I love making baby cards and the new Baby Rococo Collection from Tonic Studios is just the cutest.

Instructions:

1. To create card base, cut a 6” x 17” piece of white cardstock. Score at 1 ¼”, 2 ½”, 5”, 7 1/2 and 12 ¼”.  Fold accordion style to create a 4 ¾” x 6” card.

2. Cover 5 panels with designer cardstock as pictured. I cut the paper just a bit smaller and colored the edges with distress ink before gluing to card base.

3. Die cut Rococo Cuddly Bears Die – 1273E, Rococo Petites Baby Balloons Die – 1267E, Miniature Moments Congratulations – 1246E. Color with distress inks and adhere to card base with Funky Glue Pen – 421E.

4. Die cut 3 decorative borders using Filigree Flourish Die Set – 1120E. Color with green distress ink and then glue to back panel forming a frame.

5. Punch multiple flowers with Petal Pairs Flower Punch – Set 3 Janelle – 882E. Color flowers with Nuvo Embellishment Mousse, shape flowers with Floral Crafters Tool Set – 380-266E and then glue to front panel and back panel. Embellish center of flowers with micro-beads.

6. Die cut small vine using Arboreal Dream Die Set – 656E, glue under flowers.

Tonic Studios - Poppy Hideaway Card

Hello Friends,
I have another card to share with you created with Tonic Studios dies and products. I love the Poppy Hideaway – Double Detail Die Set and coordinating Poppy Hideaway – Double Detail Stencil which I used to color the die cut.

Instructions:

I started by creating a 7 ½” x 7 ½” card base from natural white Cardstock. The next layers were cut a bit smaller and distressed with Thread Cutter/Paper Distresser – Tim Holtz – 370 – 259E.

I die cut 4 of the Climbing Clematis – Corner Die Set – 1223E. I colored them with distress ink, trimmed a bit and adhered to card with foam tape forming a square around card.

I die cut Poppy Hideaway – Double Detail Die Set – 1141E from white cardstock, and orange cardstock for the background. I colored it using Poppy Hideaway – Double Detail Stencil – 1145E and distress inks. I glued the pieces together with Funky Glue Pen – 421E and then adhered to card center with foam tape.

Tonic Studios - Just for You Card

Hello Friends,
I had so much fun creating this card using gorgeous dies from Tonic Studios. I used Jewelled Crown – Double Detail Die Set – 1143E and the coordinating Jewelled Crown – Double Detail Stencil 1147E for the decorative frame.

Instructions:

I started by creating a 5” x 7” card base from antique gray cardstock. For the next layers I used designer cardstock.

I die cut the pretty decorative frame using Jewelled Crown – Double Detail Die Set – 1143E from designer cardstock and colored it using the coordinating Jewelled Crown – Double Detail Stencil 1147E and distress inks. I used foam tape to adhere frame to card base.

The flowers were die cut with Entwining Trellis – Plush Peony Die Set – 769E and the leaves were die cut with Arboreal Dream Die Set – 656E from designer cardstock.  I used Floral Crafters Tool Set – 380-266E to shape the flowers and leaves and Funky Glue Pen – 421E to adhere them to card.

I embellished the center of the flowers with Nuvo Crystal Drops – Autumn Red – 683N. I also added some scattered pearls around the flowers.

The sentiment Just For You was die cut using Just For You Pansy Topper Die Set – 170E.

Tonic Studios - Cherish the Moment Card

Hello Friends,

I have another card to share with you created with Tonic Studios beautiful dies and products. 

  

Instructions:

I started my card by creating a 6” x 6” card base from pink cardstock.  The next layers were die cut with Scalloped Square Layering Die Set and Square Layering Die Set from natural white cardstock and designer cardstock.  I adhered the layers to card base with foam tape.

I die cut the Floral Faerie Double Detail from white cardstock and colored with Nuvo Peony Pink Mousse using the Floral Faerie Double Detail Stencil.

The flowers were die cut with Entwining Trellis – Plush Peony die set from natural white cardstock. I shaped the flowers with Floral Crafters Tool Set and then colored with distress inks.

For the leaves I used Arboreal Dream Die Set and green cardstock. I glued the leaves and flowers to card using Funky Glue Pen.  I embellished the small flowers with Nuvo Crystal Drops.

I die cut the sentiment with Sew Pretty Cherish the Moment Rectangle Frame from natural white cardstock and glued to card center with Funky Glue Pen.

Tonic Studios - Have a Beautiful Day Card

Hello Friends! I love the beautiful details of the Tonic Studios die sets I used for this card. For the background I used Intrica Beautiful Bramble Square Die Set, for the sentiment panel I used Have a Beautiful Day Circle Frame Die Set, for the flowers I used Entwining Trellis  – Plush Peony Die Set and for the leaves I used Arboreal Dream Die Set.

Instructions:

1. Cut a 6” x 12” piece of natural white cardstock, fold in half to create a 6” x 6” card base.

2. Cut a 5 ¾” x 5 ¾” square from green cardstock, adhere to card base.

3. Die cut Intrica Beautiful Bramble Square from natural white cardstock. Adhere to pink cardstock with adhesive sheet. Sprinkle Nuvo Pure Sheen Glitter – Ice White on sticky areas and then adhere to card base.

4. Die cut background layers for sentiment panel with Have a Beautiful Day Circle Frame from natural white, green and pink cardstock as pictured.  Use adhesive sheet between front decorative frame and green background. Sprinkle Nuvo Pure Sheen Glitter – Ice White on sticky areas. Layer pieces with foam squares and then adhere to card base.

5. Die cut sentiment from pink cardstock and glue to center of card with Funky Glue Pen.

6. Die cut multiple flowers using Entwining Trellis  – Plush Peony Die Set and natural white cardstock. Color edges of flowers with distress ink, shape flowers with Floral Crafters Tool Set and then adhere to card using Funky Glue Pen. Embellish center of flowers with Nuvo Crystal Drops Collection – Raspberry Pink.

7. Die cut leaves with Arboreal Dream Die Set and green cardstock. Adhere to card under flowers.

Tonic Studios - Fairy Reflection Fay & May

Hello Friends! 
Today I have a card to share with you using the Fairy Reflection – Fay & May Stamp Set and coordinating die set by Tonic Studios. I also used several Tonic die sets for the oval frames, flowers and leaves.

Instructions:

1. Cut a 6” x 12” piece of pink cardstock, fold in half to create a 6” x 6” card base.

2. Cut a 5 ¾” x 5 ¾” piece of purple cardstock. Adhere to card base using Funky Glue Pen

3. Cut a 5 ½” x 5 ½” piece of white cardstock, emboss with Sew Pretty – Pinhole Nesting Layering Square Die Set and adhere to card.

4. Die cut oval layers with Sew Pretty – Home Sweet Home Oval Frame Die Set from pink, white and purple cardstock. Layer ovals on card with foam tape.

5. Stamp Fairy Reflection - Fay & May Stamp Set with black ink onto white cardstock. Color with Nuvo Pen Collection - Royal Purples and Rosy Pinks. Apply Nuvo Glitter Drops – White Blizzard to wings. Die cut image with coordinating Fairy Reflection - Fay & May Die Set. Adhere to center of card with foam tape.

7. Die cut two flourishes with Filigree Flourish Die Set from purple cardstock. Glue to card with Funky Glue Pen.

6. Die cut multiple flowers with Entwining Trellis Die Set - Radiant Roselily from pink and purple cardstock. Shape petals with Floral Crafters Tool Set and then glue petals together to form flowers. 

7. Die cut leaves and vines with Arboreal Dream Die Set from green cardstock.

8. Adhere flowers and leaves to card using Funky Glue Pen.  Embellish center of flowers with Nuvo Crystal Drops Collection – Pearl White.

Hello Friends!  Today I have a Tonic Studios card to share with you using the Sew Pretty - Cherish the Moment Rectangle Frame Die Set.  I also used Entwining Trellis – Plush Peony Die Set for the flowers and Arboreal Dream Die Set for the leaves.

Instructions:

1. Create card base using largest die in the Cherish the Moment Rectangle Frame Die Set and green cardstock.

2. Die cut decorative frame from purple cardstock and the background from beige cardstock.  Glue both pieces together using Fundy Glue Pen and then adhere to card base with foam squares.

3. Die cut sentiment from green cardstock and then adhere to center of card.

4. Die cut leaves with Arboreal Dream Die Set and green cardstock. Adhere to top of card.

5. Die cut multiple flowers using Plush Peony Die Set and beige cardstock. Color edges of flowers with distress ink, shape flowers with Floral Crafters Tool Set and then adhere to top of card using Funky Glue Pen.

Tonic Studios Chelsea Bag and Daisy Card Ensemble

Hello Friends!
Today I have a Delicate Daisy Card and a matching Chelsea Shoulder Bag created with Tonic Studios beautiful dies. This ensemble can be used as the birthday card and a gift card that you can insert in the shoulder bag.

Instructions for the Card:

1. To create the card base, cut a 7 ½” x 10” piece from designer cardstock. Score at 2 ½” and 7 ½” to create gate-fold card.

2. Die cut 2 Delicate Daisy frames from designer cardstock using Delicate Daisy Die Set. Adhere to front card base panels using Funky Glue Pen.

3. Die cut multiple flowers from designer card stock using Delicate Daisy Die Set, color tips of flowers with distress inks. Shape flowers with Floral Crafters Tool Set and then glue petals together with Funky Glue Pen. Embellish center of flowers with micro-beads. Adhere flowers to card front as pictured.

4. Die cut leaves and vines with Arboreal Dream Die Set from green cardstock.  Shape leaves with Floral Crafters Tool Set and glue to card.

5. Pierce 2 holes at center of card using Retractable Craft Pick.  Add silk ribbon to each panel, make a bow to tie card together.

Instructions for the Chelsea Shoulder Bag:

1. Die cut 2 base pieces with designer cardstock using Chelsea Shoulder Bag Die Set.  Glue pieces together at the base to create bag.

2. Die cut decorative pieces with contrasting color cardstock. Glue to bag with Funky Glue Pen.

3. Die cut multiple flowers from designer card stock using Delicate Daisy Die Set, color tips of flowers with distress inks. Shape flowers with Floral Crafters Tool Set and then glue petals together with Funky Glue Pen. Embellish center of flowers with micro-beads. Adhere flowers to shoulder bag as pictured.

4. Die cut small leaves with Arboreal Dream Die Set from green cardstock.  Shape leaves with Floral Crafters Tool Set and glue to shoulder bag under flowers.

5. Pierce 1 hole at center of bag front flap using Retractable Craft Pick. Add decorative brad.

Tonic Studios - Pampered Pets Collection

Hello Friends! 
I have another card to share with you created with Toby's Sill Die Set from the Pampered Pets Collection by Tonic Studios. I also used the Entwining Trellis Die Sets to make all the flowers and for the leaves and vines I used Arboreal Dream Die Set. This card was a lot of fun to create!! I hope you make one too.

Instructions:

1.  To create the card base, cut an  11” x 6” piece from kraft cardstock, fold in half to make a 5 ½” x 6” card base. Cover front panel with designer cardstock.

2. Using Toby’s Sill Die Set, die cut window frame from green and kraft cardstock and 4 square window from designer cardstock.  Die cut flower vase from Harvey’s Ledge Die Set.  Glue pieces together with Funky Glue Pen and adhere to center of card with foam tape.

3. Die cut leaves and vines with Arboreal Dream Die Set from green cardstock.  Shape leaves with Floral Crafter’s Tool Set and glue to lower left corner and upper right corner of card front.

4. Die cut multiple flowers with Entwining Trellis – Plush Peony Die Set and Entwining Trellis – Radiant Roselily Die Set from white cardstock.  Color flowers with distress inks, shape with Floral Crafter’s Tool Set and then glue petals to form flowers using Funky Glue Pen. 

5. Adhere flowers to card as pictured. Embellish center of purple flowers with Nuvo Glitter Drops – Purple Rain. Create some pearls with Nuvo Crystal Drops – Gloss White  around flowers and leaves.
