Spellbinders "Timeless Heart Collection" - On Your Wedding Day Card

Hello Friends! Today I would like to share this card with you created with several die sets from my upcoming Spellbinders collection called "Timeless Heart Collection". I have been having so much fun creating flowers with my new die set called Textured Flowers from this collection which works great with Foamiran and cardstock. I also used Heart Leaf Frame, Layered Leaf Vines and Double Heart Gatefold Card from my "Timeless Heart Collection" which is coming soon! 

Instructions:

1. Create a 5 ½” x 7 ½” card base from silver foil cardstock. Cut a 5 ¼” x 7 ¼” piece from designer cardstock, adhere to card base.

2. Die cut Heart Leaf Frame from silver foil cardstock.

3. Cut a 4 1/2” x 6 ½” piece from designer cardstock, mat with silver foil cardstock and then adhere to card base using 3D foam squares. Glue Heart Leaf Frame on top.

4. Die cut flowers with Textured Flowers die set from light pink Foamiran. I die cut 5 layers of the same size for each flower. Foamiran is a paper-thin foam sheet that can be die cut using 4 layers at a time and then shaped into flowers with heat tool. See below for more information and supplier.

5. Color edges of petals with chalk inks in green, orange and magenta colors.

6. Die cut leaves with Layered Leaf Vines die set from white Foamiran. Color with green chalk ink.

7. Heat flowers one at a time with heat tool for only a couple of seconds or until petals start curling up. Twist petals together while still warm and set aside. Continue doing the same with all flowers and leaves.

8. Untwist flowers and open petals as pictured below.

9. Layer flowers together using hot glue gun and pressing together in the center with stylus. Puncture a hole in the center of flower with Tool ‘N One.

10. Gather about 6 or 7 stamens together, fold in half with thin wire. Pass stamens and wire through center of flower and then secure with hot glue at the base of the flower.

11. For the flower buds you only need 3 or 4 layers which you can warm with heat tool until they start curling up and then layer together.

12. Arrange flowers and leaves together at the top corner of card and glue in place with hot glue gun. Make a bow with silk ribbon and glue under flowers.

13. Die cut sentiment from Double Heart Gatefold Card die set using silver foil cardstock. Glue to center of card.

Instructions:

Create a 6 ½” x 6 ½” card base from white cardstock. Cut a 6 ¼” x 6 ¼” foil silver square, adhere to card with tape runner. Cut out a 6” x 6” card front from Classic Wedding Paper Collection, adhere to card.

Die cut 2 decorative medallions from silver foil cardstock. Adhere to center of card using thin 3D foam squares.

Stamp Classic Wedding Bells with Versamark and silver embossing powder onto white cardstock, heat set with embossing tool. Die cut with coordinating die and then color with distress inks and daubers. Adhere wedding bells to center of card using 3D foam squares.

Stamp multiple Cascading Fuchsia flowers with orange distress ink onto white cardstock. Die cut with coordinating dies and then color edges with distress ink. Shape flowers with Deluxe Flower Shaping kit to create roses. Follow the same technique as the video above to create these roses. Adhere roses to card using thin foam squares. Embellish center of small flowers with Crystal Drops. 

Die cut leaves from green cardstock, adhere to card under flowers.

Project Instructions:

Stamp leave vines with Classic Rose Vines cling stamp set, die cut with coordinating Classic Rose Vines dies.

Color roses and leaves with distress inks and daubers. Shape with Flower Shaping Kit. Layer petals to form roses and then adhere to card. Embellish roses with Nuvo Glitter Accents and Jewel Drops.

Make a bow with silk ribbon and glue under flowers.

Tonic Studios - Ornate Church Wedding Card

Hello Friends,
Marisa here with a wedding card to share with you created with the beautiful Ornate Church Die from Tonic Studios. The flowers were die cut with Entwining Trellis Plush Peony die set.

 Instructions:

Create a 6 ¼” square card base from metallic pearl cardstock. Cut 2 slightly smaller square panels from gold and designer cardstock and then adhere to card base.

Die cut 2 Tangled Trellis - Decorative Mini Die Set – 1164E from metallic pearl cardstock, glue to card with Funky Glue Pen – 421E. Die cut Ornate Church – Rococo - 1280E from gold cardstock and then adhere to center of card. Die cut Congratulations – Miniature Moments – 1246E from gold cardstock, glue to card.

Die cut multiple flowers using Entwining Trellis – Plush Peony – 769E. Color flowers with distress inks and then shape with Floral Crafters Tool Set – 380-266E. Die cut leaves with Acorn Swirl – Rococo Petites – 178E from green cardstock. Die cut Poinsettia wreath – Rococo – 080E from gold cardstock. Arrange flowers, leaves and poinsettia on card and then glue to card with Funky Glue Pen.

Make a bow with lavender silk ribbon and glue to card under flower. Embellish center of small flowers with Nuvo Glitter Drops – Honey Gold – 762N.

Wedding Card - Craft Dies by Sue Wilson

Hello Friends,
I created this wedding card for one of my nephews that just got married. I used several die sets by Sue Wilson for the frame, borders, corners and flowers. I really love these dies and how the card turned out.

The card base for this card measures 6 1/4" x 7 1/2". I cut several layers from designer cardstock, colored the edges with distress inks and adhered to card.
I die cut 2 borders using Scandinavian Collection - Corner, Border & Tag die set and adhered to top and bottom of card. I added pearl trim to center of border. The corners were also die cut from the same die set.
The center frame was die cut with Scandinavian Collection - Copenhagen and adhered to card with foam squares to add dimension. The Love sentiment was die cut in blue cardstock and glued to center of frame.
The flowers and leaves were die cut with Finishing Touches - Camellia - Complete Petals die set and for the fronds I used Finishing Touches - Delicate Fronds.

JustRite Papercraft April Release Day 5 - Always and Forever Card

Hello Friends!

Welcome to Day 5 of the JustRite Papercraft April Release! Today we have 2 new beautiful background stamps, Secret Garden Background Stamp and Damask Wallpaper Background Stamp. For my card, I decided to use Damask Wallpaper Background Stamp and also yesterday's release Mr. & Mrs. Vintage Labels Four.

         

      

I started by making the 6" x 6" card base using Kraft cardstock. For the next layer I used designer cardstock, I distressed the edges and colored with distress ink. 

Next I stamped the Damask Wallpaper Background Stamp on designer paper using Versamark and white embossing powder. I distressed the edges and adhered to card base.

I stamped the label and sentiment from Mr. & Mrs. Vintage Labels Four using Versamark and white embossing powder. I die cut the label using the coordinating die from the set Vintage Label Four Dies and adhered to card using foam squares.

The flowers and leaves were die cut with designer paper using Spellbinders Carnation Creations and Foliage Two.
