For my project I decided to make a Wall Hanging using the new "Tattered Collage Stamp" and a flower border using the new "Tattered Blossoms" flower stamps and coordinating "Tattered Blossoms Die".

Instructions:

Size of finished product:  8” x 8”
1. Cut a 6 ½” x 6 ½” square with creme cardstock for the base. Stamp and emboss Tattered Collage using bronze embossing ink.

3. Stamp flowers with Memento Rich Cocoa ink on creme cardstock using the 3 smallest stamps from the Tattered Blossoms set. Die cut with coordinating dies from the Tattered Blossoms Die set. Spray to color with Glimmer Mists and let dry. Shape petals and layer flowers with foam dots. Attach pearls to the center of the flowers.

4. Stamp leaves using Leaf Medley and die cut with coordinating die from Spellbinders Foliage. Spray leaves with Glimmer Mists.

5. Die cut several of the tiny flowers in the Layered Scalloped Posy Die set. Die cut several vines from the Decorative Chateau Gate Die set. Spray with Glimmer Mists to color.
6. Arrange flowers and leaves around frame and secure with glue.

JustRite Papercraft May Release Day Four - Thinking of You Gift Box

Hello Friends!
Today is the final day of the JustRite May Release. The Stamp Set released today is "Summer Words", I love this set, it has great sentiments for your summer special events. I decided to make a gift box that could be used for a girl's graduation, birthday or any other occasion.

Here is the new May Release stamp set "Summer Words":

Welcome to Justrite Stampers | Free card making idea with supply lists, scrapbooking and craft ideas with rubber stamps, clear stamps and cling stamps | Secure ordering online. | Ships in 24 hours.

I started out by making the flowers first. I stamped five different backgrounds on ivory card stock with Distress Inks in several brown tones. JustRite has great background stamps which allow you to create your own pattern paper!! These are the background  stamps I used: "Fleuriste Newsprint Background Stamp", "Shabby Music Background Stamp", "Vintage Wallpaper Background Stamp", "Elegant Fronds Background Stamp", and the new just realeased "Heart Scroll Background Stamp".

To die cut the flowers and leaves I used the die sets "Rose Creations" and "Foliage" by Spellbinders.

I used different backgrounds for the flowers to achieve more texture and dimension. Shape the petals and then layer them with foam dots to make the flowers.

I die cut and embossed the box using "Square Petal Top box" die template by Spellbinders with kraft card stock. To see a complete tutorial on how to make this box go to this "Link".

For the sentiment I stamped Thinking of You from the set "Summer Words" on ivory card stock with Memento Rich Cocoa ink. For the frame behind the sentiment I used "Friendship Blooms" and I die cut it with JustRite custom design die template "Nested Medallion Labels Dies". Assemble all the pieces together as pictured below and attach to a memo pin.

I hope I have inspired you to use JustRite background stamps to make your own pattern papers! Here is another picture of  the final project:

Project Supplies:

Welcome to Justrite Stampers | Free card making idea with supply lists, scrapbooking and craft ideas with rubber stamps, clear stamps and cling stamps | Secure ordering online. | Ships in 24 hours.

To make the tag, I stamped and dry embossed the background with black embossing ink on creme cardstock using "Elegant Fronds Background Stamp"Then I stamped the border using "Classic Art Deco Lace Edges One" and die cut with coordinating die from the set "Classic Edges One" by Spellbinders.
The medallion and banner were stamped using the set "Botanical Medallions & Banner". I die cut the medallion with the coordinating die from the set "Nested Oval Medallion Labels Dies" and the banner was die cut with the new die set "Vintage Label and Banner Dies".

The flowers were stamped using the set "Botanical Medallions & Banner" also, and were colored with Copic markers. The orange doily behind the medallion was die cut using the set "Persian Motifs" by Spellbinders.

JustRite Papercraft May Release Day Two - Thank you Candy Basket

Hello Friends!
Welcome to the second day of the JustRite Papercraft May Release!  Today, the Design Team will be showcasing two new stamp sets "Violette Vintage Labels" and "Going Places Vintage Labels", and one set of custom dies "Vintage Label & Banner Dies" designed to coordinate with JustRite cling and clear stamps.

For my project I used the new cling stamp set "Violette Vintage Labels" and the new die template set "Vintage label & Banner Dies" pictured below.

Instructions:

1. To make the basket first cut a 3  3/4 inch square with white cardstock. Score a  1/2 inch mark on 4 sides and cut the corners out.

2. Stamp 4 of the smaller label from the cling stamp set "Violette Vintage Labels" on white cardstock and die cut with coordinating die from the set "Vintage label & Banner Dies".  Also die cut 4 blank labels for the inside of the box.
For the handle, stamp border using "Classic Lace Edges One". The handle is about 11 inches long, so you need to stamp the border twice and glue ends by overlapping one scallop. Die cut border on both sides with Edge A from the set "Classic Edges One" by Spellbinders.

3. Color the 4 labels and basket handle with Copic markers. For the flowers I used YR02, V15, V000 and RV66, for the leaves I used G21 and G85, and for the stripes I used #31. I used the same colors for the handle.
Glue the 4 labels on each side of the square just before the crease line as picture below shows.

4. Cut 4 ribbons measuring about 18 inches each. Center ribbons on the back side and secure with tape on the top edge of labels making sure the ribbons touch the corners. Then glue blank labels on top covering the ribbons. See picture below.

This is how the back should look after you glue all 4 labels.

This is the front side of the basket.

5. To form the basket tie a knot in each corner and then make a bow. Attach handle to the sides with strong tape or glue. I die cut 2 extra blank labels to cover the handle inside the basket.
For the sentiment "Thank you" I used the set "Spring Words" and the flowers are from the set "Violette Vintage Labels" also. Die cut a circle around the sentiment using  "Standard Circles Small" by Spellbinders and the scalloped circle behind is die cut using "Lacey Circles" by Spellbinders.
Attach pearls to flowers and handle.

Here is the finished project.

I hope you are inspired to make this basket, it does not take that long and having the coordinating dies for the images makes it really easy to cut and assemble the basket.

Project Supplies:

Other Supplies: white cardstock, Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad, May Arts silk ribbon, white pearls.
