Heartfelt Creations Wednesday - So Grateful for You Card

Welcome to another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday!! I love making flowers with the new Vintage Floret Collection, the flower stamps are just beautiful. For my card today, I also used Vintage Floret Paper Collection to make the flowers.

Metallic Pearl Cardstock, Grand Labels Eleven and Fancy Lattice by Spellbinders, Tuxedo Black Memento Ink by Tsukineko, Brushed Corduroy, Victorian Velvet and Peeled Paint Distress Inks by Rangers, Want 2 Scrap Pearls, Pink Ribbon.

Instructions:

Card measures  5  5/8” x 4”. For card base, fold 8 ½” x 11” metallic pearl cardstock in half, die cut below the folding line using second from smallest die from Grand Labels Eleven die set.  Using same die, cut two more pieces using designer paper. Adhere one of them to inside of card.

Die cut Fancy Lattice with metallic pearl cardstock and die cut again with second from smallest die from Grand Labels Eleven die set.

To create the frame for the front of the card, use the smallest die from Grand Labels Eleven die set. Tape on the front of the card to secure in place and run through the Grand Calibur. Follow the same step for the extra designer paper piece.  Adhere fancy lattice piece to card front and then adhere the designer paper frame on top.

Stamp several flowers and leaves on designer paper and die cut with coordinating dies. Add some color with distress inks, shape petals and layer to form flowers.

Cut out sentiment from designer paper and ink edges with distress ink. Adhere to fancy lattice card front and arrange flowers around as pictured. Make a bow with ribbon and attach to card.

Heartfelt Creations Wednesday - Birthday Double Z-Fold Card

I am so excited that I get to continue being on the Heartfelt Creations Design Team!! I love to create projects with their beautiful products.Thank you so much for your votes, I am very grateful!!
Here is my card for today, I had fun trying the Double-Z Fold and adding the lace borders. The two sided Heartfelt Creation designer paper is perfect for this fold, I made two cards with one sheet of cardstock.

Vintage Lace Accents, Foliage Two, and Venetian Motifs by Spellbinders, Antique Gray Cardstock by Neenah Papers, Tuxedo Black Memento Ink by Tsukineki, Victorian Velvet, Forest Moss, and Walnut Stain Distress Inks by Rangers, Foam Squares by Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L, Pearls by Want2Scrap.

Instructions:

Cut a 5” x 6 ¼” piece of Antique Gray cardstock for the card base.  For the Double Z-Fold card, cut  6” x 12” piece from designer paper, score at  1 ¼”, 3 5/8”, 8 3/8”, and 10 ¾”. Z- Fold as pictured.  I used the designer paper with the columns and flower pot from the Vintage Floret Paper Collection, you can make 2 cards with one 12” x 12” sheet of paper.  Ink edges with distress ink and adhere to card base.

Using Antique Gray cardstock, die cut 2 doilies and 2 lace borders from the Vintage Lace Accents die set.  Adhere borders to card sides and ink edges to distress.  Adhere doilies to top left and bottom right of the front flaps using foam squares.

On Antique Gray cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink, stamp flowers and leaves, die cut with matching dies. Ink edges with Victorian Velvet distress ink for the flower petals and Forest Moss for the leaves. Shape petals and layer to form roses. Die cut more leaves and swirls using Spellbinders dies and color with Forest Moss distress ink. Arrange flowers, leaves and swirls to both doilies as shown.

Cut one of the sentiments from the Vintage Floret Collection and adhere to center of card. Embellish card with pearls.

My First "Paper Creations Magazine" Publication!!

Hello Friends!
I am so excited to announce that I have been published in Paper Creations Magazine!!! Here is a picture of the Christmas Cookie Basket and Card Ensemble I created for them.

You can find the detailed instructions on pages 40-41 in the new Winter 2013 Issue of Paper Creations Magazine, in stores today, October 30th wherever crafting magazines are sold, or order online HERE.

I created this ensemble using one of the dies I designed for Spellbinders called Hexagon Petal Envelope, which you can also use to make the basket. The flowers were created with Heartfelt Creations rubber stamps and for the tag I used JustRite Papercraft rubber stamps.

Hello Friends!
It's time for some more inspiration from Heartfelt Creations! This week I made a Wall Hanging using their newest release, Vintage Floret Collection PreCut Stamps, coordinating Vintage Floret Die and the Vintage Floret Paper Collection. I absolutely love this collection!!!

Project Instructions:

Wall Hanging measures approximately  10 ½” x 7 ½”. Using Vintage Floret Designer Paper, die cut top panel using 2^nd largest of the Grand LabelsEleven die set. Die cut smaller frames as pictured and layer on base using foam squares.  Stamp Vintage Floret Background on Natural White cardstock with brown chalk ink, die cut around it with smallest Grand Labels Eleven and adhere to card.

Follow the same instructions for bottom panel but this time use smaller dies. Stamp Happy Birthday sentiment on Natural White cardstock with brown chalk ink and adhere to base.

Stamp flowers and leaves on Designer Paper with brown chalk ink, die cut with coordinating dies. Shape flowers and leaves and layer to form roses. Adhere to stamped image on top panel and around sentiment on bottom panel. Embellish with rhinestones and bling.

Punch holes on both panels and tie together with silk ribbon as shown.  Punch 2 more holes on top panel, cut 2 pieces of silk ribbon measuring  12” long, pass through holes and make a bow on each side to make your project into a wall hanging.

JustRite Papercraft and Petaloo Christmas Inspiration - Holiday Cheer Card

Hello Friends!
Please join us this week, Monday through Friday for 5 Days of Christmas Inspiration from the JustRite Design Team and the Petaloo Design team. Our projects will be using Christmas stamps from JustRite Papercraft and flowers from Petaloo International . This is a great combination of beautiful products!!

For my card I used Holiday Cheer Ornaments stamp set by JustRite Papercraft, embossed in gold on natural white cardstock and die cut with coordinating die from the 2010 Heirloom Ornament set by Spellbinders. The borders on each side of the card were stamped using Classic Sentiment Edges One stamp set by JustRite, embossed in gold and die cut with coordinating die from Classic Edges One by Spellbinders. I colored both using Copic markers and distress inks.

The pretty flowers are Red Mini Poinsettias by Petaloo and the Glass Ornament Pins are also from Petaloo. I used foam squares to adhere to card.
The red pearls are from Want2Scrap and the designer paper is called Twig and Berry Collection by Kaiser Craft.

JustRite Papercraft - Amazing Paper Grace November Kit Wall Hanging

Hello Friends!
Today I have this Wall Hanging to share with you which I created using the new Amazing Paper Grace November Kit Club by Becca Feeken from JustRite Papercraft. This is another beautiful kit that you would love to have, it includes everything you need to create Becca's projects. The kit also includes a set of brand new stamps and dies that are exclusive to this kit.

Here is a look at the stamp set A New Day and the custom design Filigree Corner Dies that are included in the November Kit.

          

For my project I cut a 6 1/2" x 6 1/2" designer paper square. I die cut 4 of the larger corners and adhered them to the card base. The lace border was created with Martha Stewart punches.

I stamped the sentiment on design paper and die cut around it using Vintage Frame Label die from Becca's October Kit.  I adhered sentiment to center of card base using foam squares. 

                               

The flowers and leaves were die cut using Rose Creations and Foliage Two. I used Want 2 Scrap pearls to embellish border and flowers. 

The bows were created using pink seam binding ribbon from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, they have a great variety of colors.

Welcome to another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday!! I had so much fun making this card, the new Vintage Floret Collection is just beautiful! I love the stamps, the coordinating dies and designer paper. For my card I used Vintage Floret Bouquet PreCut Set as the focal point.

Instructions:

1. Card base is approximately  7” x 5”.  Cut Natural White cardstock to 7 ½” x  11”, fold in half and die cut card base with Grand Labels Eleven using die number 4 from smallest.  Stamp Vintage Floret Bouquet on card base with black ink and color with Copic markers.

2. Create a frame with neutral Vintage Floret Designer Paper using Grand Labels Eleven, dies number 2 and 4 from smallest. Ink edges with distress ink and adhere to card base with foam squares.

3. Stamp multiple sizes of the Vintage Florets on Natural White cardstock with black ink, cut them out with coordinating Vintage Floret dies, and color with distress inks. Shape the flowers with a flower molding mat and stylus and layer together. Glue pearls to the center of flowers. Color leaves with green distress ink.

4. Glue the dimensional flowers and leaves to frame around the card as pictured. Die cut some swirls using Bella Rose die, ink with distress ink and adhere to frame.

JustRite Papercraft October Release - Happy Birthday to You Card

Hello Friends!
Welcome to Day Three of the JustRite Papercraft October Release! Today we are showcasing two beautiful stamp sets, Embroidered Background Stamp and also Friends Antique Labels One, a set of 8 cling stamps which coordinate with Antique Labels One Dies.

   

For my card I first stamped the background using white embossing powder on orange cardstock. The side borders were stamped with Classic Embroidered Edges Two on blue cardstock and die cut with Classic Edges Two. 

                          

The Labels and sentiment were also stamped and embossed with white embossing powder on blue cardstock and die cut with coordinating dies from the Antique Labels One Dies set. I adhered the labels to card using foam squares.
The flowers and leaves were die cut with Rose Creations and Foliage Two by Spellbinders.
For the bow I used May Arts silk ribbon from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

JustRite Papercraft October Release - Holiday Cheer Card

Hello Friends!
Today is day two of the October Release for JustRite Papercraft and the beautiful stamp set we are showcasing is Holiday Cheer Ornaments. This is a set of 8 cling stamps and they coordinate with Spellbinders 2010, 2011, 2012 Heirloom Ornaments.

                                           

                               

For my card I stamped the pretty ornament from Holiday Cheer Ornaments set and die cut it with the coordinating die from the 2010 Heirloom Ornaments set. For the background I used Lace Background Stamp and colored it with Copic markers. For the medallion behind the ornament I used Lace Medallion Labels and coordinating Nested Medallion Labels Dies.

For the flowers I used Layered Poinsettia by Spellbinders and the pearls in the center are from Want2Scrap.

Instructions:

Cut brown metallic cardstock to 6” x 11” and fold in half to make a 6” x 5 ½” card base. Cut pink Designer Paper to 5 ¾” x 5 ¼” and adhere to card base.

Die cut 2 small square windows from the Decorative Chateau die set and adhere to card as pictured. Cut out sentiment from Designer Paper and layer on  4 ¼” x 3 ½” brown metallic cardstock.  Adhere sentiment to card.

Stamp flowers and leaves on Natural White cardstock using black ink. Die cut with coordinating dies and color with distress inks. Assemble flowers and leaves, attach to card as pictured using foam squares.
