Spellbinders "Timeless Heart Collection" - On Your Wedding Day Card

Hello Friends! Today I would like to share this card with you created with several die sets from my upcoming Spellbinders collection called "Timeless Heart Collection"I have been having so much fun creating flowers with my new die set called Textured Flowers from this collection which works great with Foamiran and cardstock. I also used Heart Leaf FrameLayered Leaf Vines and Double Heart Gatefold Card from my "Timeless Heart Collection" which is coming soon!

Instructions:

1. Create a 5 ½” x 7 ½” card base from silver foil cardstock. Cut a 5 ¼” x 7 ¼” piece from designer cardstock, adhere to card base.

2. Die cut Heart Leaf Frame from silver foil cardstock.

3. Cut a 4 1/2” x 6 ½” piece from designer cardstock, mat with silver foil cardstock and then adhere to card base using 3D foam squares. Glue Heart Leaf Frame on top.

4. Die cut flowers with Textured Flowers die set from light pink Foamiran. I die cut 5 layers of the same size for each flower. Foamiran is a paper-thin foam sheet that can be die cut using 4 layers at a time and then shaped into flowers with heat tool. See below for more information and supplier.

5. Color edges of petals with chalk inks in green, orange and magenta colors.

6. Die cut leaves with Layered Leaf Vines die set from white Foamiran. Color with green chalk ink.

7. Heat flowers one at a time with heat tool for only a couple of seconds or until petals start curling up. Twist petals together while still warm and set aside. Continue doing the same with all flowers and leaves.

8. Untwist flowers and open petals as pictured below.

9. Layer flowers together using hot glue gun and pressing together in the center with stylus. Puncture a hole in the center of flower with Tool ‘N One.

10. Gather about 6 or 7 stamens together, fold in half with thin wire. Pass stamens and wire through center of flower and then secure with hot glue at the base of the flower.

11. For the flower buds you only need 3 or 4 layers which you can warm with heat tool until they start curling up and then layer together.

12. Arrange flowers and leaves together at the top corner of card and glue in place with hot glue gun. Make a bow with silk ribbon and glue under flowers.

13. Die cut sentiment from Double Heart Gatefold Card die set using silver foil cardstock. Glue to center of card.

Spellbinders - Flower Tile Card

Hello Friends! Today I would like to show you how to make this card using Spellbinders Flower Tile Die from my Celebrate the Day Collection. I also used Spellbinders Windows of Memories die set to make the flowers. This card is very simple to make, the die cuts all the pieces for you!

Instructions:

1. Create a 6 ½” x 6 ½” card base from beige cardstock. Cover card front with designer cardstock.

2. Die cut 4 flower tiles with Spellbinders Flower Tile die from double sided designer cardstock. Use 4 different coordinating colors.

3. Adhere 4 tiles to a 6” x 6” piece of designer cardstock.

4. Glue squares to tiles, interchanging colors and using both sides of the designer cardstock. Mat panel with beige cardstock and then adhere to card front with foam squares.

5. Die cut multiple flowers and leaves with Spellbinders Windows of Memories flower dies from Floral Oriental cardstock. This paper from Crafters Corner - Dress My Craft is very pliable and it works great for making flowers, I also love their Groove Golf Tool Set for shaping flowers and their Sparkling Dust to embellish flowers. See supply list below.

6. Color flowers with Archival Magenta Hue ink and leaves with Fern Green ink using Tool N’ One foam applicators.

7. Spray flowers and leaves with water to dampen the paper. Shape flowers with Groove Golf Tool Set and then heat dry.

8. Embellish flowers with Sparkling Dust using Multi Medium Matte glue. Glue flower stamens to center of flowers with hot glue gun.

Today I have a vintage card to share with you created with one of my die sets in this collection called Windows of Memories. This die set has so many different options, you can use your favorite pictures for a photo collage card or layout, you can also use Christmas designer papers for a Christmas card, the possibilities are endless. I think this card is perfect for a wedding, anniversary or Valentine’s Day.

Instructions:

1. Trim a piece of kraft cardstock to 6” x 12” with paper trimmer. Fold in half to form a 6” x 6” card base.
2. Trim pattern paper to 5 7/8” x 5 7/8” and adhere to card base.
3. Die cut frame and inserts with Windows of Memories Die Set from double sided pattern paper. You can use the die to cut specific areas of the pattern paper. Adhere frame to the card base first and then the inserts.

4. Die cut multiple flowers and leaves using the dies included in the  Windows of Memories Die Set from white cardstock. Color flowers with distress inks using the Tool ‘n One foam refills. Shape petals with Tool ‘n One Stylus Tips and then glue together to form flowers. You can also use a brad to layer the leaves and flower petals together.

5. Glue flowers and leaves to top and bottom of the card as pictured below. Make 2 bows using white silk ribbon and adhere under flowers.

Here is another version of the same card using a different pattern paper. The flower petals and leaves in this card were layered together using brads. This card is featured on the packaging of the Windows of Memories Die Set.
