Spellbinders Designer Favorites Blog Hop - Flower Top Gift Boxes

Hello friends! Welcome to Spellbinders Designer Favorites Blog Hop!! We are so excited to show you our favorite product designs we have created this year for Spellbinders. Fill out the contest giveaway form at the end of this post and leave a comment here on my blog for a chance to win my favorite die set called Flower Top Box Die Set and the other designers' favorites too. See more information below.

I have a tutorial to share with you on how to create these gift boxes using Spellbinders Flower Top Box Die Set from my Celebrate the Day Collection. You can also use these boxes as party favors for special occasions like bridal showers, birthday parties and holidays. They are really easy to make, all the cutting and scoring lines are in the die ready for you to assemble the box in no time.

Instructions:

1. Die cut gift box with Flower Top Box Die Set. You need to die cut 2 pieces from 2-sided design paper.

2. Die cut 6 small square top layers, color edges with distress ink and foam applicator.

3. Glue both pieces together at the center of the base and then glue square top layers.

4. Fold all scored lines and then assemble box by gluing the side tabs under the side panels.

5. Fold top petals back and then curl with a bone folder or pencil. Use ribbon to tie together and your gift box is done.

Spellbinders Supplies:

Other Supplies: 49 and Market Paper Goods (Heirloom Botanicals and Scents of Nature Collections), Blue Fern Studios (Tales of Treasure Collection), Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L (E-Z Runner Micro tape runner), May Arts Silk Ribbon, Ranger Distress Ink.
