Heartfelt Creations - Life is Good Card

Hello Friends,
Welcome to another Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations. Today I have a card to share with you created with the beautiful Cascading Fuchsia Collection. For the flowers I used the Cascading Fuchsia Cling Stamp Set and the coordinating Cascading Fuchsia Die. You can use these sets to assemble the flowers in 2 different ways as pictured below.

Neenah Papers Solar White Cardstock, Kraft Cardstock, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, Ranger Distress Ink Mini Pads ( Seedless Preserves, Spun Sugar, Peeled Paint, Fired Brick), Spellbinders Grand Calibur,  Foam Squares, Water Brush.


Project Instructions:

Create a 6” x 6” card base using Kraft cardstock.  Cover front of card with Cascading Fuchsia Paper Collection. Cut another layer with paper collection measuring  5 ¼” x 5 ¼”,  mat with kraft cardstock and adhere to card using foam squares.
Stamp Vining Fuchsia on a  6 ¼” x 3 ¾” rectangle of natural white cardstock with black ink. Color with distress inks and water brush.  Distress edges and then mat with kraft cardstock. Die cut lace flower, cut out petals and glue behind Vining Fuchsia.  Adhere panel  to card front using foam squares.
Cut sentiment from paper collection to 2” x 2 ¾”, distress edges and mat with kraft cardstock. Adhere to card using foam squares.
Stamp Open Leaf and Classic Leaf onto white cardstock using green ink pad, color with green distress ink pad, shape with shaping kit and adhere to card as shown.
Stamp Cascading Fuchsia onto white cardstock using Berrylicious chalk ink pad. Die cut with coordinating Cascading Fuchsia Die. Color flowers with distress inks and then shape with Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Roll stamen and then glue under fuchsias. Attach flowers to card under leaves using hot glue.

  11. Beautiful Marisa! I love the colors of your Fuchsia flowers, they really are the colors of sunny California. I moved away when I was 30, but still remember the warm sunny days. You've captured them perfectly! Hugs
