Christmas Hexagon Petal Box with Gift Tags

Hello Friends!
Here is another box to keep your Christmas tags organized. I made this project for JustRite Friday Challenge # 063 Christmas.

This box is made with "Hexagon Petal Envelope" and "2010 Heirloom Ornament" die templates from Spellbinders. The cling rubber stamps are from JustRite, I used two sets, "Deck the Halls" and "Merry and Bright".
To learn how to make the Hexagon Petal Box, click on this link "Hexagon Petal Envelope and Basket Ensemble" for a complete tutorial.

For the box, I rubber stamped and die cut 12 of the large ornament and 6 of the small ornament. Notice that I also glued the ornaments to the inside of the box. I used gold embossing powder to stamp the ornaments and I colored them with Copic markers.

The gift tags were made the same way as the ornaments on the box. I used a 1 and a half inch circle punch to cut the pictures. I prefer pictures rather than writing the names on the gift tags. This is great for kids that can not read their names yet, they see their picture and they know the present is theirs!

Square Bracket Edge Box by Spellbinders and JustRite

Hello Friends!
Here is a new project made with the Square Bracket Edge Box die template by Spellbinders and decorated with Elegant Charms cling rubber stamp set by JustRite.
I made this set of boxes for the JustRite Friday Challenge Give Thanks. I love their stamps!
This cute little box measures about 2 inches square, it is great for jewelry, candy, or small presents.

To make these boxes you will need the Square Bracket Edge Box die template, Lacey Squares die template by Spellbinders and Elegant Charms cling rubber stamp set by JustRite.

Instructions for making Box and Lid with Flower:

Die-cut and emboss box and lid in brown card stock by running it through the Grand Calibur die cutting machine. Repeat process in green card stock for box base and orange card stock for box lid.

Emboss green box base and orange box lid with Flower Delight Grand Impressabilities by Spellbinders as pictured below. Make sure the die cutting side is up.

Distress embossed area with Tim Holtz distress ink and then cut all the embossed pieces following the embossed lines.

Glue embossed pieces on box lid and box base. Adhere strong tape to all the tabs and assemble the box and lid.

For the flower, I used the flower stamp from the set Elegant Charms by JustRite. I stamped the flower 4 times and cut close to edge. I also stamped With Gratitude stamp on center of top flower and added a round bubble cap by Epiphany Crafts. Layer flowers with foam squares.

Instructions for Open Box with Candy:

Die-cut and emboss box base with brown card stock. Die-cut 4 squares with orange card stock with Lacey Squares die template. Stamp square charm stamp from the set Elegant Charms  4 times on green card stock and cut around. Stamp With Gratitute stamp in the center. Layer pieces on box sides and adhere tape on tabs to assemble box.

Die-cut a square with Lacey Squares for the base of the box. Glue to box.

Here are the finished projects.
