Pocket Card & Tag Tutorial on Spellbinders Blog

Heartfelt Creations Wednesday - Holiday Mail Card

Hello Friends!
Welcome back to another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday!! Today I would like to share with you another card I made for Heartfelt Creations using Holiday Mail PreCut Set from the beautiful Ornamental Light Collection released this month.




Products Used on This Project:

Decorative Labels Eight by Spellbinders, Beige Cardstock by Neenah, Kraft Cardstock by Bazzill, Black Tuxedo Memento Ink by Tsukineko, Copic Markers, Photo Vintage Distress Ink by Ranger, May Arts Silk Ribbon, Pearls, Foam Squares.

Instructions:
Card base measures 5 ½ x 5 ½”. Cut kraft cardstock to 5 ½” x 11”, score at 5 ½” and fold.  For the background, cut 9 squares that measure 1 ¾” x 1 ¾” using pattern paper, glue on card base.
Stamp mail box image on beige cardstock using black ink, color with Copic markers. Trace Decorative Label Eight on image and cut. Die cut Decorative Label, attach to image and adhere to card using foam squares.


Stamp and die cut Poinsettia flowers and color with Copic markers. Layer petals together and adhere to card. Embellish flower with pearls.
Make a bow using silk ribbon and adhere to card.

Heartfelt Creations Wednesday - Noel Collage Wall Hanging

Hello Friends!
Welcome back to another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday!! For my project today I created this Wall Hanging using Noel Collage PreCut Set from the beautiful Ornamental Light Collection released this month.




Products Used on This Project:

Other:
Red and Beige Cardstock by Neenah, Gold Embossing Powder, Versamark by Tsukineko, Vintage Photo Distress Ink by Rangers, Martha Stewart Punches, Pearls, May Arts Silk Ribbon.

Instructions:
Project measures 5 ¾ “ x 7”.  Cut base 6” x 7 ¼ “  and punch around 4 sides. Cut next layer 4 ¾ “ x 6” using designer paper and adhere to base.
Stamp Noel Collage on Beige cardstock with Versamark and emboss using gold embossing powder. Cut to 4 ¼ “ x 5 ½ “. Distress border and add color using Distress ink. Adhere to card using foam squares.
Stamp poinsettias and emboss with gold embossing powder. Die cut and color with Copic markers. Attach flowers to collage.
Make two bows using silk ribbon and attach them to card. Tie ribbon for hanging.

JustRite Papercraft - Amazing Paper Graces Kit Club

Hello Friends!
I am so excited to share with you the brand new Amazing Paper Graces Kit Club designed by Becca Feekin for JustRite Papercraft.This is a monthly kit club that includes exclusive stamps and coordinating dies designed by Becca. I have been admiring her work for a long time, she is a lovely lady with an amazing talent and creativity, she inspires all of us not just with her gorgeous cards but also with her kindness and love for our Creator. I had so much fun creating this card, the stamps and dies from the September Kit are just beautiful. I can't wait to see what else Becca will be designing for the next months!!

For my card, I rubber stamped the images in black ink and colored them with Copic markers. For the flowers I used Cherry Blossoms die set by Spellbinders. The background design paper is from the Organic Collection by Fabscraps. I also used some distress inks for the postage stamps and flowers.

Heartfelt Creations Wednesday - I Can Do all Things Card

Hello Friends!
Welcome back to another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday! Today I would like to share with you another card I made for Heartfelt Creations using Posy Patch Flowers PreCut Set and Hope In The Lord PreCut Set.



Instructions:
Card measures 5 ¼ “ x 7 ¼ ”. Cut Kraft cardstock 7 ¼ ” x 10 ½ ”, score at 5 ¼ “,  fold to make card base. Cut designer paper 5” x 7”, adhere to card. Cut designer paper 3 ½ “ x 5”, emboss with Enchanted embossing folder and adhere to center of card.


Stamp sentiment with black ink on designer paper and die cut using Standard Circles Small. Die cut doily and border using kraft cardstock, ink borders with distress ink. Attach sentiment circle to doily and adhere to card using foam squares. Attach borders to card as pictured.


Stamp and die cut flowers and leaves, glue petals together to form flowers. Arrange flowers and leaves on card. Embellish flowers with pearls.

Heartfelt Creations August Release - For You at Christmas Card

Hello Friends!

Instructions:
1. Card base measures 5” x 7”. Cut grey cardstock to 7” x 10”, score at 5” and fold. Cut design paper mat measuring 6 ¾” x 4 ¾” and adhere to card.
2. Die cut Floral Oval in grey cardstock and adhere to right side of card using foam squares. Stamp bird house on white cardstock with black ink, color with Copic marker and cut with oval die. Glue image on the floral oval.


3. Stamp and die cut poinsettias and leaves, color the center with distress ink and arrange on the left corner of the card. Embellish flowers with pearls.


4. Die cut metal fixture and glue to left upper corner. Stamp and die cut light fixture and adhere to card under metal fixture using foam squares.
5. Stamp sentiment and cut with an oval punch, adhere to card.

To create my card I stamped Merry Christmas Background Stamp 3 times on cream cardstock using black ink and then I colored the images with Tim Holtz Distress Markers. I die cut the different layers using A2 Matting Basics A and A2 Matting Basics B by Spellbinders. I adhered the layers to card base using foam squares to add dimension.


For the ornament, I stamped the image using Merry and Bright Stamp Set by JustRite Papercraft and die cut it using 2010 Heirloom Ornament by Spellbinders.

The sentiment was stamped in black ink using Antique Christmas Tags One and then die cut with coordinating die from Antique Tags One Dies. The ornament and sentiment were adhered to card using foam squares.
The poinsettia was die cut in red cardstock using Layered Poinsettia by Spellbinders. The flower and ornament were embellished with gold pearls.

For my card I first embossed cream cardstock using Elegance M-Bossabilities by Spellbinders, I colored the embossed area with distress ink and adhered to card base. The next layer was rubber stamped lightly with distress inks using the leaf stamps from the Shabby Chic Autumn Leaves set. 
Next, I rubber stamped several leaves in black ink on cream cardstock. I cut them with small scissors and colored them with distress inks. 



For the sentiment tag I used Antique Autumn Tags One, I stamped the image with black ink and then die cut it with coordinating die from the Antique Tags One Dies set. I used foam squares to layer all the pieces on the card.
The corners were die cut in black cardstock using Antique Frame and Accents by Spellbinders.

For my card I used Botanical Swirls Labels stamp set. I love all the labels and sentiments in this set! This stamp set also coordinates with the new Botanical Swirls and Accents die set by Spellbinders.

Instructions:
1. Cut a piece of cardstock measuring 4 1/2" x 9", score at 4 1/2" and fold to make a 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" card base. 
2. Cut a designer paper mat measuring 4 1/4" x 4 1/4", adhere to card.
3. Die cut botanical swirls for the background in brown cardstock and adhere to card.
4 Stamp label and sentiment in brown ink, die cut with coordinating die and color with distress inks.


5. Die cut and emboss medallion, color with distress inks. Adhere medallion and sentiment to card using foam squares. 
6. Die cut flowers using Bitty Blossoms, ink edges and roll to form flowers. Die cut leaves using the leaf die from the Botanical Swirls and Accents set. Arrange flowers on card as pictured.


7. Make a bow using silk ribbon and adhere to card.

JustRite Papercraft August Release - Ooh La La Card

Welcome to our third day of JustRite Papercraft's August Release!! Today we are featuring JustRite Papercraft - Samantha Walker's new stamp collection!! I have been having so much fun creating cards with these gorgeous stamps. For my card today, I used Ooh La La French Frills stamp set which also coordinates with Samantha's new dies French Frills by Spellbinders.

For the background of my card, I used Elegant Fronds Background Stamp and Paris Background Stamp by JustRite Papercraft. I stamped the images in Spun Sugar and Vintage Photo Distress Inks on cream cardstock.

I stamped the dresses with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored with Copic markers and then cut by hand. Next I die cut the dress forms in black cardstock and adhered to card. I gathered a strip of tulle and attached it to dresses and then to dress forms.



I stamped the label and sentiment in Black Tuxedo Memento Ink and colored with Copic markers. I die cut coordinating label and attached them together. Next I die cut the doily using Moroccan Accents by Spellbinders and attached it behind sentiment. 
For the bow, I used May Arts pink silk ribbon from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store. They have a great selection of beautiful ribbons! Click on the link to check them out.



The black border on the left side of the card was also cut with Moroccan Accents and embellished with rhinestones. 
For the flowers and leaves I used Bitty Blossoms dies and cream cardstock. I distressed the edges with Spun Sugar Distress Ink before rolling the flowers into shape.
