Easter Greetings Card for JustRite Friday Challenge

Hello Friends!
Today, I have another card to share with you. I created this card for JustRite Friday Challenge #69: Spring Fling. The challenge is to create a card using a noticeable butterfly and soft spring colors. When I think of Easter, I also think of the beginning of spring, so I decided to make an Easter card.

For this card I wanted to use the new additions to my JustRite rubber stamp collection, I love their rubber stamps. For the cross, frame, flower, and sentiments I used the sets "Easter Blessings""Spring Words", and "Just Keep Calm". I rubber stamped them with Memento Rich Cocoa ink.

I die cut the frame around the cross and sentiments using "Nested Oval Medallion Labels" by JustRite Custom Dies. The lacey brown background was die cut with "Lace Doily Motifs" by Spellbinders. I colored the cross and white flower on the right side with Copic Markers using soft pastel colors. For the bow, I used silk ribbon from May Arts.

For the pink roses, I used "Bitty Blossoms" by Spellbinders to die cut them. I added some distress ink to the borders before I rolled them into shape. The butterfly was die cut with "Wonderful Wings" and for the leaves I used "Foliage".

The tiny pink flowers were die cut with "Layered Scalloped Posy Die" and the small vine was die cut with "Decorative Chateau Gate Die" by Heartfelt Creations. The patterned paper is the "Nature Garden Collection" by Prima Marketing.

This card is a Tri-Shutter fold card and it folds flat. You can find a tutorial on how to make this card by clicking on this "Link". Give it a try, it is not hard at all.

JustRite Friday Challenge #068

Hello Friends!
Today, I created this card for the JustRite Friday Challenge. This challenge is about adding our choice of one color to a black and white color palette.

To make this card, I used 3 rubber stamp sets by JustRite Stampers. For the side scalloped borders I rubber stamped and dry embossed in black "Classic Scallop Borders One". For the sentiment I used "Cast All Your Cares" and for the frame around the sentiment I used the set "Kindness", they were all rubber stamped and then dry embossed with black embossing powder.

The scalloped borders were die cut with "Classic Scallop" by Spellbinders, the sentiment frame was die cut with "Label Twenty" by Spellbinders. I added a little bling around the frame with "Nestabling" by Want 2 Scrap. For the flowers, I die cut them with  "Bitty Blossoms" by Spellbinders. I also used a punch for the tiny flowers. I distressed the flowers with Rusty Hinge Distress Ink. The white card stock in the background was embossed with "Enchanted M-Bossabilities" embossing folders by Spellbinders.

"A Sister is a Forever Friend" Layout

Hello Friends!
Today, I would like to share with you this layout I created with Heartfelt Creations rubber stamps, Spellbinders die templates, JustRite rubber stamps, and the Organic Collection papers by FabScraps. The girls in the picture are my daughters when they were 14 and 12 years old.

For this 12 x 12 layout, I started by distressing the borders of the 12 x 12 back layer. The next layer is 11 1/2 x 11 1/2  and the third layer behind the picture is 7 x 7 inches. I distressed the borders of both layers as well. I cut the picture down to 5 x 5 inches.

To make the flowers, I rubber stamped the flowers with "Botanical Floral 1" and "Botanical Floral 2" rubber stamps by Heartfelt Creations. Their rubber stamps are just beautiful and they are designed to match Spellbinders die templates. I rubber stamped the flowers with Rich Cocoa Memento die ink and then die cut them with "Rose Creations" by Spellbinders. I layered the flowers with foam dots for more dimension. To make the leaves, I rubber stamped the leaves with "Leaf Medley" by Heartfelt Creations and die cut them with "Foliage" by Spellbinders.

The lacey borders and corners around the picture and behind the corner flowers were die cut with "Moroccan Accents" die templates by Spellbinders. The sentiment "A Sister is a forever friend" was rubber stamped with "Because I Care" set by JustRite. This is also an accent from the Moroccan set of dies.

I layered all the elements as shown. I also added a few self stick pearls on the Moroccan accents. Here is another picture of the finished layout.

JustRite Friday Challenge 067 "Birthday Bash"

Hello Friends!
Today, I would like to share my creation for the JustRite Friday Challenge "Birthday Bash". I love my collection of JustRite rubber stamps and Spellbinders matching dies!!! I use them all the time.

For this birthday card, I used the JustRite rubber stamp sets "Kindness" for the frames, "Cast all Your Cares" for the bright pink flowers, "Spring Words" for the Happy Birthday sentiment, and "Classic Scallop Borders One" for the scalloped borders. They were rubber stamped and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The Kindness frames were die cut with "Labels Twenty" by Spellbinders and the scalloped borders were also die cut with "Classic Scallop" by Spellbinders.

I rubber stamped the bright pink flowers with brown Memento ink pad and colored them with Copic markers, R83, R59, G99 and YG93. For the patterned paper flowers, leaves and flourishes I used Spellbinders die sets "Rose Creations""Foliage", and "Floral Flourishes". Also "Daisy Patch" dies and "Posy Patch" dies by Heartfelt Creations.

I added white tear-shaped pearls to the scalloped borders with jump rings and I also added pearls to the center of the flowers. The patterned papers are from the "Heritage Collection" by FabScraps, I love these papers, they are just beautiful.

Easter Blessings Candy Basket

Hello Friends!
Today, I would like to share with you this cute candy basket that I think is perfect for Easter!

This basket is made with the "Hexagon Petal Envelope" die template by Spellbinders. I designed this die template for Spellbinders to make an envelope, but it works great for making baskets too!!
The "Easter Blessings" rubber stamp is from JustRite, this set is called "Spring Words". I love JustRite rubber stamps and die templates, they are just beautiful!
The patterned paper is from Graphic 45, this collection is called "Once Upon a Springtime", it is one of my favorite paper collections they have.
See the pictures below to see the basic steps, but to see a complete tutorial on how to make this basket, go to this "Link".

To wrap the chocolate Nuggets by Hershey's, cut 1 x 3 inches paper strips, secure with tape. I also die-cut several of the little flowers in the Hexagon Petal Envelope set. The flowers fit perfect on top of the Nuggets, I used glue dots to secure in place.

You can also make this matching envelope with the same die template "Hexagon Petal Envelope" by Spellbinders. The flower is made with the "Anemone Flower Topper" die template by Spellbinders. See pictures below.

To make the flower, die-cut and emboss the 3 flowers in the set using the "The Grand Calibur" machine. Curl the petals and layer the flowers with foam dots for more dimension. For the center of the flower I used self-stick pearls.

I also distressed the borders of the envelope and the flower with Distress Ink by Tim Holtz. Here is the finished project.
