Today, I would like to share with you this cute candy basket that I think is perfect for Easter!
This basket is made with the "Hexagon Petal Envelope" die template by Spellbinders. I designed this die template for Spellbinders to make an envelope, but it works great for making baskets too!!
The "Easter Blessings" rubber stamp is from JustRite, this set is called "Spring Words". I love JustRite rubber stamps and die templates, they are just beautiful!
The patterned paper is from Graphic 45, this collection is called "Once Upon a Springtime", it is one of my favorite paper collections they have.
See the pictures below to see the basic steps, but to see a complete tutorial on how to make this basket, go to this "Link".
To wrap the chocolate Nuggets by Hershey's, cut 1 x 3 inches paper strips, secure with tape. I also die-cut several of the little flowers in the Hexagon Petal Envelope set. The flowers fit perfect on top of the Nuggets, I used glue dots to secure in place.
You can also make this matching envelope with the same die template "Hexagon Petal Envelope" by Spellbinders. The flower is made with the "Anemone Flower Topper" die template by Spellbinders. See pictures below.
To make the flower, die-cut and emboss the 3 flowers in the set using the "The Grand Calibur" machine. Curl the petals and layer the flowers with foam dots for more dimension. For the center of the flower I used self-stick pearls.
