Spellbinders Thinking of You Card

Hello crafty friends! Today I would like to show you how to make these cards created with Thinking of You Scalloped Rectangle die set from my Thoughtful Expressions Collection. I also used Textured Flowers die set to make my flowers.






Instructions:

1. Die cut 2 large decorative frames and one smaller frame with Thinking of You Scalloped Rectangle die set from pink or white metallic cardstock.



2. Apply 1/8” double stick tape to borders.



3. Die cut “Thinking of You” sentiment from pink or white metallic cardstock.



4. Cut a 7 ¼” x 5 5/8” piece from designer cardstock for card base. Score at 3 5/8” and fold in half. Adhere one of the decorative frames to front of card base.



5. Adhere second decorative frame to back of card. Use glue to adhere both top borders together.



6. Cut a 1 7/8” x 3 ¾” piece from designer cardstock, adhere behind small decorative frame. Glue “Thinking of You” sentiment and then adhere decorative frame to center of card using 3D Foam Creative Sheets or foam tape.





7. To make flowers, die cut multiple flowers and leaves with Textured Flowers die set from white Foamiran or white paper. Color with chalk inks or distress inks. Scrunch flowers to shape and adhere stamens in the center. Adhere flowers and leaves to left top corner of card. For details on how to make the flowers go HERE.



8. Make bow with silk ribbon and glue under flowers.

Spellbinders Blog Hop and Giveaway - Layers of Flowers Card

Hello Friends! Welcome to Spellbinders January 2018 Blog Hop and Giveaway!
Today I will be featuring Layers of Flowers, Succulent & Mum Flower and Get Well Soon Scalloped Circle die sets from my Thoughtful Expressions Collection by Spellbinders.

Instructions:

1. To create a 5  1/4” x 5  1/4” gate fold card base, cut a 5  1/4” x 10  1/2” piece of cardstock. Score at 2  5/8” and 7  7/8”. Fold scored lines to center of card.

2. Die cut Layers of Flowers panels from 3 contrasting cardstock colors. Repeat for second panel.



3. Glue panels together as pictured below. Adhere white pearls to center of flowers on panels.



4. Cut 2 panels measuring 2  3/8” x 5” from white cardstock. Glue under Layers of Flowers panels and then adhere to card.

5. Die cut multiple flowers with Succulent & Mum Flower die set from white Foamiran, you can also use white cardstock. I used 6 layers for each flower, 4 of the same size and 2 smaller flowers.



6. Color Foamiran flowers with chalk inks. 



7. Glue layers together with hot glue gun.



8. Heat flower with heat tool for about 5 seconds or until the petals start to curl up. Adhere pearl in the center of flower.





9. Die cut Layered Leaf Vines from green Foamiran or green cardstock.



10. Using heat gun, adhere flowers and leaves to card as pictured. Embellish with pearl string. 





11. Cut a 5” x 5” center panel for the inside of card. Die cut sentiment with Get Well Soon Scalloped Circle die set from white cardstock. Adhere sentiment to card.



12. Punch small hole to center of card on both panels and use silk ribbon to close card and make a bow.

Spellbinders "Blooming Garden Collection" Sneak Peek

Hello Friends! I'm so excited to share with you a sneak peek of my new Spellbinders collection called Blooming Garden Collection!! This collection consists of 10 new die sets for making beautiful cards, gift boxes, baskets, new flowers, swirls, sentiments, vintage frames and doilies.




The Blooming Garden Collection by Marisa Job will be on display at the CHA Creativation Show on January 20th in Phoenix, Arizona. I think you are going to love these new designs as much as I do.
