JustRite Papercraft Friday Challenge - You Inspire Me Tag

Hello Friends!
It is time for the JustRite Papercraft Friday Challenge! The theme for this challenge is to create a custom tag or use a tag in your project. Be sure to visit the JustRite Papercraft Blog for more information on this challenge and how to participate and have a chance to win fabulous JustRite products!!

For my tag I used one of my favorite sets in the JustRite Papercraft July Release With Gratitude Labels One and coordinating JustRite Custom Dies Antique Labels One Dies. I love both sets!!

Welcome to Justrite Stampers | Free card making idea with supply lists, scrapbooking and craft ideas with rubber stamps, clear stamps and cling stamps | Secure ordering online. | Ships in 24 hours.     Spellbinders Nestabilities are paper cutting and embossing dies sold in sets They create paper shapes at 1/4th and 1/8th inch increments that help create cards and scrapbooking pages with stunning visual effects. They are universal and work in most die cu

I started by cutting the base for the tag and punched the borders using French Scroll by Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page Punch Set.

Then I cut another rectangle smaller than the base and embossed it using M-Bossabilities Elegance by Spellbinders. I added some color to the embossed areas using distress inks and adhered to tag base.

I stamped the images in black ink on beige cardstock and colored with Copic markers and then die cut with coordinating dies. Next, I adhered the images to card base using foam squares.

Embellish tag with flowers, leaves and pearls. The bow was made using silk ribbons from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Other:  Silk ribbons from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, French Scroll Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page SetPearls, Copic Markers, Rangers Distress Inks, Flowers and Leaves.

Thanks for visiting! Hugs!

  1. Ooo this is really pretty! It would even be a great bookmark. I like what you did with the different colors in the background.

  2. What a glorious tag Marisa, love the rich colours in the background!

Would love to know how you created the beautiful delicate leaves/branches behind your flower, is that a die or did you buy them like that?

Have a great weekend my friend.

  3. Beautiful tag Marisa! I love all the little details of charms and pearls! I love the leaves/branch too and would love to know where it's from! Blessings! Kathy

  4. Marisa-this is by far one of my favorites! I love the different shades side by side & the colored ribbon on top. Excellent job!

  5. Marisa, das Tag ist wunderschön! Ich liebe die Farben und die wunderbare Gestaltung.

  6. This is so pretty Marisa. I love the coloring and the way you matched it with the ribbon, and your flowers and leaves are gorgeous!

  7. Marisa, this is gorgeous, so much detail and time spent on all of your work, love it!

  8. Marisa, I LOVE this design…but unfortunately Martha must have changed the names/designs of her "punch around the page" punches…because the "french scroll" pattern that's currently for sale is nowhere near as pretty as yours :(

Thank you for your comments! I love hearing from you!
